On 19th April 2021, Punjab Health Department issued a notification regarding the extension in vacations for all medical colleges. According to the details, the Punjab Health Department extended the vacations till 2nd May due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the number of COVID-19 rapidly increasing, therefore PHD decided to close medical colleges till 2nd May. Some of the medical institutions including medical, dental, nursing, and paramedical schools will now shut down for the following two weeks. Only the staff for official and clerical duties will continue to perform their duties.

All the examinations at the institutes conducted as per their schedules. The government of Balochistan Announced the closure of all the schools across the province after a sharp increase in COVID-19 cases registered in the province. The provincial minister for Education declared that “All government schools will remain closed till Eid-ul-Fitr”.
