Yesterday, the Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) conducted a fruitful meeting in which they talked about hiring teachers. Now, the government of Punjab decided to fill 100 vacant college principals posts across the province. The majority of schools are running without the principal. However, some of the principals are not attending the school full time. Because of this, the Punjab Govt decided to hire the principals full-time, including five colleges in Lahore.

- Government College (GC) Township
- GC Model Town
- Queen Mary College
- GC College at Ravi Road.
They want to hire teachers on an ad-hoc basis, either the in-charge or the professors, resulting in administrative and academic problems. The Punjab HED ordered to fill these positions urgently. However, they received massive applications, and the shortlisted applicants will be interviewed next week.
