Monthly Allowance for Caregivers
The School Education Department Punjab recently announced a fixed monthly allowance for caregivers in schools. According to the news, the caregivers in around 5000 schools will get the monthly Rs 8,000/- allowance. SED decided to fix the allowance after receiving many complaints on this matter.
Furthermore, the Education Department also warned the principals who don’t provide allowances to the caregiver on time. Thus, the department clarified that govt would take strict actions against those school heads. At the same time, the Punjab Education Department also stated that caregivers would get the amount from the Non-Salary Budget or the Farogh-e-Taleem Fund.
