The government of Punjab issued the latest notification regarding the increase in school fees. The latest notification is to inform all that the government has increased the school fee from Rs 20 to Rs 100. The Punjab School Education Department conducts a meeting with Farogh – E-Taleem Fund FTF for increasing public school fees. Hence, after getting suggestions from others, they decided to enhance the fee from 20 Rs to 100 in English medium schools. The purpose is to improve education quality by meeting the requirements of teaching-learning services. The Head of the Schools approved this and ordered to collect of the Farog – E – Taleem fund. Also, exempt 10% of the enrollment of respective classes from payment of FTF based on poverty / low-income parents. Hence Punjab government raised school fee.
