PU Ashura Holidays 2022
The University of Punjab (PU) Lahore issued a notification regarding the Ashura Holidays. According to the notice, the university will remain close on the 8th and 9th of August 2022 because of Ashura. Ashura represents the 9th and 10th date of Islamic Month, Muharram-ul-Haram. This year, Ashura Holidays will be on the 8th and 9th of August (Monday and Tuesday) 2022. Every year dates change because of the moon. As Islamic Months, dates and durations depending on the moon sighting.
After the Ashura holidays, the university will resume its activities according to the routine. However, we have uploaded the official notification to the PU regarding the Ashura Holidays 2022.
