As the new academic session begins, therefore Punjab University (PU) announces the schedule for the new academic session 2020-21. In November 2020, Punjab University conducted a fruitful meeting in which he discussed the admission process and also reviewed the situation of COVID-19. They also get suggestions regarding the class plan for the new admission. After getting suggestions and reviewing the current situation, they came to the result of the commencement of classes from 14th December 2020. It is mandatory for all candidates to follow the new schedule. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the classes of the new session were delayed.
The students once again transformed into the online classes session due to the second wave of coronavirus. Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood shut down all educational institutes till 10th January 2020 for protecting students from such a dreadful virus. Only M.Phil and Ph.D. students are allowed to visit campus. The rest of the students will stay home and take classes online.
PU Degree Programs Schedule 2020-21
Punjab University issued the schedule of all degree programs including Undergraduate, MS, MA, or equivalent programs. According to the latest notification, classes of newly admitted students shall start from 14th December 2020. The online classes of other semesters already continued as per government policy. Applicants who recently got admission to PU will now able to attend class from December 14, 2020
