On 20 May 2021 Morning, the Punjab Educational Minister stated to announce the decision regarding schools soon. In the tweet, Murad Raas said that the Punjab government would notify the decision within 24 hours.
Thus, today or till tomorrow, the Punjab Government will make the decision regarding the opening of private and public schools. However, the educational minister also asked the candidates to follow the SOPs properly.
Before his statement, NCOC also permitted opening the institutes in the districts with less than a 5% positivity rate. Those areas where the positivity rate is above 5% will open the institutes after 01 June 2021 on the instruction of NCOC.
