Recently, a resolution of the Move “Teaching Quran & Serat-in-Nabi Compulsory in Universities” has been passed in the Senate. It is now compulsory for Pakistani university students to learn Quran Translation, Tafseer, and Tajweed during academic sessions.
However, the Teaching of the Quran will not be included in the exams. The government passed the resolution so that students must have knowledge about the Holy Quran and Sunnah teachings. It will help the students to keep in contact with the knowledge of the Quran so that they can spend their life according to the Islamic ways.
