The education minister of Sindh, Saeed Ghani, announced that there would be no winter vacations in the Sindh this year. He said that students had lost a lot of time due to COVID-19, so now it is impossible to announce winter vacations.
Saeed Ghani stated that this year government already gave holidays due to COVID-19. Thus, right now, there is no question of vacation. He also stated that the final decision would be from the NOCOC at the end of November.
However, Shafqat Mahmood and PM Imran Khan decided to extend the winter vacations for two months. On the other hand, the education ministers didn’t decide anything about it.
According to the news, all provinces’ education ministers will attend a conference on 23 November 2020. In the meeting, they will decide or make the final decision regarding winter vacations in the country.
