The school teachers and heads have demanded the Government to delay the Matric class 10th exams.
The teachers want to delay the annual exams of 10th class because of the more extended winter vacations. The Government extended the vacations because of the weather conditions, but it has become difficult for the school teachers and students to cover the exams in a very short period.
The 10th class exams were supposed to start from February 22, 2020 but now the teachers are demanding from the Government to hold the exams from March 10, 2020. Also, the heads of the schools and the teachers requested the delay in 8th class examination.
It was good for the students and teachers that the Government decided to extend the winter holidays, but ultimately it has become difficult for the teachers and the students to cover the syllabus and prepare for the exams.
However, there is no response from the Government to the appeal of the teachers. But hopefully, the Punjab Government will consider the demand of the teachers.
