School Vacations may be extended until August 15
According to the prevailing conditions, Dr. Murad Raas said that school might be reopened from August 15 to cope with the situation of COVID-19. They decided to extend the summer holidays until August 15, 2020. In a recent Tv show, Murad Raas talked that saving the lives of children and teachers is our priority. We cannot put teachers and students in trouble. He further added that there are almost 30 students in one class. Approximately 3 to 4 students sit in one desk. If one of the students gets affected by COVID-19, then the virus slowly spread in the whole class. The number will increase gradually. Hence, we cannot think to open schools.
Minister for Education Government of Punjab first decided to open school on June 01. Due to this critical coronavirus situation, the summer vacation may be extended until August 15, 2020. Well, it is clear from the recent conversation that the school may be reopened till August 15.
