On Thursday, the School Education Department Punjab held a meeting where the department decided the December exam schedule. SED decided to start a 9-month examination in all public schools of Punjab. So, these 09-month exams, also known as the December examination.
This year, due to the closure of institutes, schools could not conduct the examination. So, now according to the new schedule, the exam will start from 01 February 2021.
Paper type and Promotion Policy
In the meeting, SED also said that the December examination would be objective type and start from 01-02-2021. However, the final exams will be at the end of April.
Other than that, SED also decided the promotion policy in the meeting. According to the selected policy, the students will be able to promote to the next classes based on the following marks.
- 50% marks from homework
- 50% marks from examination marks.
School Opening Decision
