SED Punjab to Hold English Language Proficiency Test Of PST


The School Education Department issued a notification regarding primary school teachers. The SED ordered an English proficiency test for all primary school teachers according to the latest notification. They conduct the test on English subject. According to details, Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development, the Punjab government’s apex institution for in-service and pre-service training of public school teachers, and the British Council Pakistan will hold the test in all districts.

Not only in a specific city, but the test will be conducted in different cities like Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Rawalpindi. The English Proficiency test will commence on 12 to 19th June 2022. One good news is that SED Provides Rs. 1,000 to each teacher as a travel allowance. British Council Pakistan has also asked SED Punjab to ensure maximum participation of teachers in the language proficiency test. Recently, SED fired several teachers for not furnishing their B.Ed degrees. But now, they decided to conduct a test of all English teachers.
