Federal Education Minister Response
On 04 January 2021, the government announced the school reopening schedule after winter vacations. On this, a lot of students of schools, colleges and universities gave negative responses. So, the federal education minister Shafqat Mahmood tweeted on the students’ response.
He stated that the students’ reaction surprised me. He also said that education is a gateway towards the bright future. And the student’s life is the best duration in one’s life. So, he advised that everyone must enjoy the studies and welcome the opportunity to study.
School Reopening Decision
On Monday, all education ministers attended a meeting and decided to reopen the institutes from 18 January 2021. However, schools will reopen in three phases. In the last stage on 01 February, all the universities will open.
