In a meeting of Sindh Teacher Education Development Authority (STEDA), all members decided to abolish the age limit for B.ed. The meeting of STEDA was held under the leadership of Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani. The government decided to assist those who are interested in the teaching profession by removing the age limit.
Now, candidates of any age could take admissions in B.ed programs. Before this, candidates of 28 years old or less were able to apply. So, it is fascinating news for the interested candidates. However, the Sindh government did not issue any official advertisement, but the government will announce it soon after the approval.
Other than B.ed programmes, the Sindh Government also decided to remove the age limitation for some other programs. Those programs are associate degrees and bachelors in elementary education.
On this topic, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that we would make the legislation for the removal of the age limit for teaching programs very soon. So, now everyone is waiting for the official announcement of the Sindh Government.
