Sindh Govrnement Announces Public Holidays for two Days in Schools
The government of Sindh has announced an official holiday for two days as Pakistan has detected its first two cases of the novel coronavirus.A public health advisor to Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted Wednesday (26-02-2020) after Islamabad closed its land border with Iran, where 19 people have died from the virus. The Sindh Government has conducted a Public holiday in all schools because of the Corona Virus.
Pakistan’s first Corona Virus case was confirmed in Karachi. This deadly virus is vigorously spread in the Middle East and beyond. The Sindh Government said.
The first coronavirus was reported in Karachi, and the second one is reported in Federal Areas. “No need to panic.”
The patient traveled from Iran to Karachi by plane on February 20. He has placed in quarantine and the Health Department is in the process of examining all the passengers that he traveled with, the statement added.
In response to a question, Mirza said, “15 suspected cases of the virus are currently under investigation, while 100 cases have tested negative so far.”
Instead of creating panic or worrying needlessly, people should “take precautions and show responsibility”.
Because of all these, parents are afraid due to Corona Virus and Sindh Government now officially announced the public holiday for two days (Thursday and Friday).
