This year, the government abolished the PMDC and gave the authority of MDCAT 2020 to the PMC. Now, PMC made a lot of changes regarding MDCAT, including the MDCAT Syllabus. PMC announced Uniform MDCAT 2020; now, students all across the country will follow the same syllabus and exam pattern.

On all these decisions of the PMC, the students are aggressive and want a delay in MDCAT 2020. Now, students made “DELAYMDCAT2020” trending on Twitter. One of the students said that PMC announced the revised syllabus very late. We have no preparation for the exam according to this syllabus. So, they demanded to delay the exam until the end of November.
Another student tweeted that the government finalized the syllabus just 20 days before the exams. MDCAT is not a joke but the future of many students.

Similarly, many students said the same thing. They demanded to delay the test, so students will be able to prepare for the test.
Government Statement
After hearing the students’ words on social media, Dr. Faisal Sultan spoke on this matter. He said that the purpose of the uniform MDCAT is to make the criteria the same for all candidates. Dr. Sultan also stated that the government only changed the MDCAT into a uniform MDCAT without any other variations. He also said that MDCAT 2020 would have 50% weightage in all public colleges.
