Students Protest in Front of HEC
On 01 July 2021, many students gathered in front of the HEC Office and demanded to cancel the matric and intermediate annual exams. During this protest, they have changed their demand from online exams to cancel the exams. Students stated that they couldn’t appear in the exams as they have studied online the whole year.
Students said that they would not go anywhere until the government approves their demands. However, they also asked Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood to approve their requests or tender his resignation. Thus, to end the protest, police conduct an operation and arrest some students.
However, before this, students demanded online exams at the start of this year, but now they have changed it. At the same time, the matric and intermediate exams across the country will start from 10 July 202. The boards have announced the finalized date sheets for the 2021 exams.
