The people of Swat are facing a tough time because of the worsening flood. After examining the current situation, the district administration of Swat has decided to shut down all educational institutes till next month. The huge destruction caused by the flood. The houses of thousands of people were destroyed. Many bridges and well-furnished hotels were washed away in the flash floods. Over 30 million people in Pakistan have been affected by recorded monsoon rains and flooding. Hence, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Swat decided to close all public and private institutes till 5 September. The educational institutes will reopen on 6 September.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has shared the report of deaths. The total number of deaths till now is 242 deaths and 307 injuries. In total deaths, there were 105 females, 101 males, and 36 children.
