In a recent press release, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has issued the latest announcement. They discussed the promotion criteria of class 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th. On 14th May 2020, the 17th Meeting of Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference was held with the Competent Authority’s permission. However, 3% of additional marks will also be given to the students. - All grade 9th and 11th students are promoted to class 10th and 12th.
- The special exams will be held for the following categories.
- Those who promoted to class 10th and 12th will not give composite exam in 2021
- The class 9th and 11th marks will be calculated on behalf of their grades performance in class 10th and 12th in 2021.
- Students who are promoted to 10th and 12th class if failed in class 9th or secure marks below 40% in grade 9th and 11th will be awarded passing marks.
- Those who do not agree with their 11th class marks can improve their marks by giving exams with grade 12th
- Those who failed in more than 40% of the subjects
