We have good news for all applicants studying in board classes like SSC and HSSC. The government of Pakistan finally introduced the grading system for matric and inter-level students. This newly launched grading system will now replace the old marks system. Firstly, the passing mark is 33 all over Pakistan, but it has increased to 40. Also, the Failure will now get the grade U instead of “F.”
Those who obtain 96 marks out of 100 will get an A++ grade, and an A+ for those who get 91 to 95 marks. Similarly, A grade for 86 to 90 marks. All the heads of the educational boards attended the meeting, shared their opinion, and approved the grading system. The meeting will be held in Lahore. Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar has also been specially invited to attend the meeting. According to the grading system, a graded B plus will give 81 to 85 percent of marks, and 76 to 81 marks will be graded B.

Hence, the matriculation and Inter level students will get the marks in University-style Grading Point Average (GPA) instead of marks. Moreover, all educational heads and the Director also finalized that the matric and inter exams will be held in April and May, and the results will be announced in August every year.
