Recently, the Pakistan Medical Commission issued a notification regarding the marks in MDCAT for the MBBS and BDS admissions 2021. PMC stated that only those applicants who have passed MDCAT with 65% marks are eligible for the Public & Private Medical/Dental colleges. At the same time, the students who didn’t get the MDCAT Pass certification by PMC are not eligible for the admissions.
PMC also notified that if any students took admission illegally, they would do so at their own risks and costs. However, the college that will accept the admission of ineligible students will face strict panel action. The commission will also cancel the registration and accreditation of that institutes.
However, PMC also highlighted the authorities that can determine and set the passing marks of the MDCAT. So, any other entity/authority has no right to alter the criteria.
However, below is the attachment of the PMC official notification containing all details regarding the MDCAT Passing marks and admissions criteria.
