We have good news for matric and inter students. According to President Dr Arif Alvi Introduce STEM Program for Matric and Inter Studentsthe details, President Arif Ali launched the STEM Program for SSC-II and HSSC-II students. The STEM Program is abbreviated as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Medical Programs. Moreover, this Program developed by the Ministry of Science and Technology along with its development. However, they started this last year on the directive of Prime Minister Imran Khan. When this STEM program initially started, the Ministry of Science and technology started this in 50 public schools and colleges. They offer this Program from 9th to 12 classes. They select the candidate based on ability and talent. When the Program becomes successful, they start implementing it in other public schools and colleges across Pakistan.
There are three main components in the STEM Program, i.e. laboratories, teachers’ training, and STEM modules. In the first component, they build special laboratories to facilitate medical students. Teachers will give world top-class education to the students who enrol in the STEM Program in the second component. While in the third component, the universities will choose schools and colleges based on merit to improve the quality of the education. The launch of the STEM Program will kick off this era and enable Pakistan students to compete globally.
