Punjab’s School Education Department (SED) brings reforms to facilitate the students and teachers across the province. Recently, the government of Punjab has decided to promote all the teachers with a BSP-17.
Ph.D. Teachers to be promoted to Grade-17
The department of School Education is a Government department in Punjab, Pakistan. The departments’ functions are to legislate, formulate policy and plan primary, middle, secondary and higher education and maintain educational standards in these areas.
The teachers who are Ph.D. degree holders and having a minimum 4-years of teaching experience will be considered for this policy. The department of school education has called a meeting on October 28 to discuss the terms on the table. The provincial minister Murad Raas took this decision. However, the formalities are still pending to be done.
The decision is made to support the value of higher education and to enable teachers to improve their skills and expertise. The conference will be attended by the representative of the Primary, DIP Elementary, Manager monitoring, and Teachers Union. Promotion orders will be issued according to the strategies finalized in the meeting.
