According to the latest notification issued by the Punjab government, it is to notify all teachers that the Provincial cabinet approved the primary school teachers and elementary school teachers will receive advance increment. The provincial cabinet announced this decision in the light of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of Pakistan. Hence, there is no recovery and re-fixation of pay. The department will make against those Primary School teachers (PST) / Elementary School Teachers (EST) who receive such increments and corrections. They have already got pay fixation against the provisions—the scheme of granting advance increments.
It is important to inform all the teachers that the government stopped advance Increments in the revised pay scales in 2001. Not only advance increments but also selections grade, move over, etc., the Govt stopped.
