On 18 September 2020, Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani announced not to open schools for grade 6-8 students. According to the declared schedule, students of grade 6th, 7th, and 8th have to come to the schools from 21 September. But now the Sindh Government delayed classes for a week.
He took this decision by considering the COVID-19 situation. He said that instead of the many efforts, many things might affect the children’s health. That’s why the Sindh government postponed the 2nd phase of reopening the schools for a week.
He further said that now schools for the middle classes will open from 28 September 2020. It will happen if conditions will remain suitable. He also stated that we took this decision for the health of children, which is very necessary.
According to the Saeed Ghani, until tomorrow, 14,544 samples have been taken from different schools. From which the government received 3,336 reports, out of which 89 reports were Crona positive. He also said that the Sindh government would take this decision to delay the classes to the Federal government.
However, the Sindh government did not announce any date for the primary classes. Hopefully, all the issues will resolve soon. For the further latest news, Visit our website.
